Our names are Shawn, Paul, and Matt.

We all like rock music, skateboarding, food, and girls.

About Chemical Reactions5-8-08
Organic Reactions- are reactions containing organic compounds.
Redox Reactions- is when a compounds oxidation number changes.
Calcium Chloride(CaCl2)- is the ionic compound of calcium and chlorine and is Highly disolvable in water.

Formula Lab

2NaHCO3 (Sodium Bicarbinate)
Sodium- 2 atoms
Hydrogen-2 atoms
Carbon- 2 atoms
Oxygen- 6 atoms

Ca(OH)2 (Calcium Hydroxides)
Calcium 1 atom
Oxygen 2 atoms
Hydrogen 2 atoms

Reactants Observations_

CaCl+Naflco3+ H20
The chemicals mixed, created bubbles, and rose.
CaCl2+ NaHCO5+ B,B
When we added the B,B the chenical rose with bubbles and was green and cloudy.
NaHCO3+ CaCl2
Nothing happened. The chemicals just sat there. Completely Idle.

Film canister is 5.8 grams

Sodium bicarbinate is 1 .5 grams

Calcium chloride is .3 grams

we aidded 10 mililiters of water and the compound rose after.

A bond that is insoluble I am a metallic bond.
A bond that can gain and loose electrons is an ionic bond. Properties theyre is a transfer of electrons.
A bond that can not feel partial to either of the atoms in my bond.

Sports and Chemistry__5-22-08
Wrestling is ionic, because there is attraction between the wrestlers, which are on opposing teams, like ions in an ionic bond.
Skateboarding is Covalent, because there is a shared part of the soul between the skater and the skateboard.
Football is metallic, because you have to weave through the defensive line, like the electrons in a metallic bond.

We are now in the middle of a lab trying to see if sodium iodide and lead nitrate mixed together if the mass changes.
